Season 11 at Locavore Farm, and our first table in Grant Park: ninety-one guests, a farm tour at golden hour, and dinner down one very long table in the barn as the string lights came on.
Nearly everything came off the property that week: the chicken and the lamb, the kale and the kohlrabi, the herbs we grabbed on the Wednesday walk-through. Bites passed during the tour, courses plated from the barn pass, and brown butter honeycomb boxed for the ride home.
Thank you to Rachael, Christopher, and the whole Locavore crew for the welcome. First of many, we hope.
